Brentano's Spring 2011 Essentials collection turns an eye toward beauty with 19 new textiles offering refined and understated upholsteries and draperies. According to Brentano Design Director Iris Wang, Essentials is comprised of the fabrics she would use in her own home, but designed for wider audiences and applications. Whether it's through careful fiber selection, lyrical patterns, meticulous coloring, or tactile details, Essentials embraces natural fibers and is Brentano's most residentially-focused collection to date.Founded in 1990 by Design Director Iris Wang and her husband and President E-Kwan Chen, Brentano has grown from a modest beginning of eight patterns to an internationally represented textile house.
