ELKRIDGE, MD, February 03, 2011 (Press-News.org) On February 10, 2011 in honor of the newly enacted "5% Women's Procurement Rule" for federal contracting, Gloria Larkin will host an hour long teleconference about the new era in government contracting for women business owners. The teleconference focus is how women contractors of all backgrounds can participate in and be awarded the now $20 billion in set aside contracts.
Due to the timely nature of the teleconference and the importance of women business owners taking advantage of new millions in potential revenues, TargetGov is offering this teleconference for no cost. All contractors (women and men) are encouraged to participate as the set aside arena has a new major player that is sure to make waves in the contractors' pool.
"Women business owners now have a seat at the federal contracting table," said Gloria Larkin, TargetGov President. "There is literally billions of dollars in contracting opportunities opening up for women who are serious about being successful."
The teleconference is scheduled for February 11,2011 at 10:00 am PST, 11:00 am MST, 12:00 noon CST, and 1:00 pm EST. There is no cost to attend this teleconference, and all program participants are required to register on the TargetGov website http://www.targetgov.com/Content.asp?id=2830. The teleconference will be recorded as an audio download and made available to registrants after the live session for attendees that are not available during the scheduled time.
