DURHAM, NC, February 04, 2011 (Press-News.org) BIO Quote From Author Angie Skelhorn

I am the fifth child born into a farming family located south of Peterborough, ON. Canada.

The domestic animals as well as the wildlife found at the farm held much amusement for me during my childhood. Living in the country performing seasonal tasks added much to my appreciation of nature.

I ventured forth to discover myself at the tender age of fourteen. My journey took me to Toronto, and then the Ottawa area. Initially I found employment as a horse groomer, followed by twenty-plus years as a waitress. After sampling many of life's pleasures and pitfalls witchcraft capture my interest. I returned to the family farm where I became fascinated with witchcraft; the lifestyle, beliefs customs and traditions. I found the teaching of the craft offered a positive blueprint for living.

My love of nature, my imagination, and the desire to share the knowledge of the benefits of witchcraft are obvious in my writing.

Featuring No Reins by Angie Skelhorn

At the tender age of fourteen, Angel, with a short, slender, good athletic body, long reddish brown hair, hazel eyes, and strong will of her own, was a tomboy. Raised on the family-owned and operated hundred acres, standard-bred horse farm, she had no problem helping her brothers, Tim and Jake, in tending to the horses in the barn or on race nights.

At about the same age, a young man named Stephen from Quebec entered her life. He left a lasting impression on her heart. Angel loved her family, but she longed to be with him. The only way to solve her problem was to leave the safety and comfort of her home and go to him at the racetrack.

A twist, an unexpected curve brought unimaginable grief. Through deception, false friends, and secret enemies, she learns there are no straight lines in love, only the mystery of the curve.

Second Title: On The Edge by Angie Skelhorn

When Carm, marries Jordan MacKay, she says goodbye to her friends, family and the she knew at the farm, against the will of those close to her.

After only six weeks of marriage, at the young age of twenty-two, she's a widow, when a horrible storm kills her young husband, leaving her alone in a city unknown to her.

Carm, finds a friend in a complete stranger named Paige. The environment the young widow enters is so different than the one she had, she loses her identity as she conforms to it.

Totally lost to her present drama an introduction to Gretchen, the neighborhood witch, and unexpectedly haunted by the spirit of her dead husband, she learns to evolve and overcome her sorrow.

In today's society permeated with illicit and ready available drugs, "ON THE EDGE," tells the amazing story of despair and near death. My manuscript, "ON THE EDGE," is a story of redemption in which today's reader will find hope.

ReliantPR and Ascot Media Group Launch Author 333 - Every authors dream

2011-02-04
It's a known fact in the world of writers that if they don't have a publicist to promote their book it ends up going into that big, empty hole that so many books fall into regardless of whether it's a potential best-seller or not. Unlike best-selling authors who normally have a publicist to get their new book noticed, many new authors never get to find out if they have a best-seller because they have already exhausted all their funds publishing the book. It simply boils down to one thing: they can't sell their book without a publicist and they can't afford a publicist without ...
