American Business Owners Join ViaSEO for Italian Workshops

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, February 06, 2011 (Press-News.org) Successful American companies, Level343 and MPThree Consulting, have joined to bring Silicon Valley workshops to the Italian market. The joint company, [http://viaseo.it/] ViaSEO, is offering workshop sessions for SEO, social media, Wordpress and Google Analytics in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy this summer.

Massimo Paolini (MPThree Consulting) and Gabriella Sannino (Level343), both natural Italians citizens, chose to target the Italian market for several reasons. "Italy is like the Wild Wild West for Internet technology," says Gabriella. "Most business owners have yet to embrace social media, analytics or internet marketing - things common in U.S. business."

Both follow Italian and American users across the social networks, but bridging the gap between the two cultures hasn't been easy. "Trying to communicate through 140 characters or a poke through Facebook isn't the easiest thing to do, but it eventually gets the conversations started," says Massimo. "As our own businesses expand, it's hard not to look at the difference between our home land and the U.S. in terms of technological advancements. Therefore, we try to reach out any time we can. Italy seems like a natural evolution for us, in both a personal and business sense."

At the heart of the workshops is the use of web and social media. The goal is to enhance the knowledge of intermediate to advanced level individuals working in marketing and media agencies. The workshops will open with a history of SEO, to help people understand how it plays such a vital role in any web presence.

"People might wonder about starting with such basic information. In fact, we've received a few comments about how 'low level' the history of SEO is," says Gabriella. "However, we have to understand the basics in order to grasp more advanced techniques: how to improve online communication, implement strategies, build a social network, detect human behavior and relevance, etc."

Massimo continues, "Understanding Google Analytics while working with your SEO strategies has to be a fundamental component to your campaign. You need to learn your visitors' habits and needs, and how to interact with them based on hard data. With Gabriella's content development background, along with my Google geek and Wordpress experience, we're hoping to build informative, beneficial, well-rounded workshops individuals of any level can attend and learn from."
