To set a high standard for turnaround management professionals, the Turnaround Management Society (www.turnaround-society.com ) has developed the International Turnaround Management Standard (ITMS), and an education program for practitioners and academics in turnaround management. The Certified International Turnaround Manager program acknowledges the achievement and credentials of professionals who have atained mastery in the profession.

The Turnaround Management Society is an industry specific organization for Turnaround Management. Its members are turnaround professionals, distressed debt investors, and academics actively practicing in the field.
