NeoMetrix Launches 3D Printing & 3D Scanning Co-op Program

NeoMetrix Technologies, Inc., has partnered with the University of Central Florida to create an exciting co-op program for engineering students interested in the fields of 3D scanning and 3D Printing.

ORLANDO, FL, February 14, 2011 (Press-News.org) NeoMetrix Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of 3d scanning and 3d printing products and services has partnered with the University of Central Florida Office of Experiential Learning, in Undergraduate Studies to create an exciting new program for engineering students interested in gaining real world experience in the 3D scanning and 3D printing industries.

Co-op students will work part time at NeoMetrix while pursuing their degrees in engineering at UCF. They will gain real hands on experience with high tech systems like the Konica-Minolta Range 7 3D Scanner, the Creaform MetraScan and the Connex 350 3D printer from Objet.

According to Dan Perreault, President of NeoMetrix "we firmly believe that this is a win win program for NeoMetrix as well as the co-op students. We get the additional help that we need, and they get to gain real experience with some of the most advanced technology available in the industry."
