This free app has climbed to top ranking in several categories, even enjoying a 4 day stretch as the #1 Free App in the Italy App Store. Bocce-Ball is categorized in the Apple App Store as Games, Arcade Games, and Sports Games. It has reached #1 in Free Sports Games, #2 in Free Arcade Games, #4 in all Free Games, and #6 in all Free Apps ... as ranked in the USA App Store.

Bocce-Ball's support of Apple's Game Center allows users to compare their scores with players around the world. Daily, weekly, and all time scores are all archived and users are ranked based on score. 2-Player and Team Play allows users to pass-and-play games with their friends.
Network play is going to take everything one step further. It will allow for users to challenge their friends, or other opponents, and play live games that can be paused and resumed at their convenience no matter where their friends are. This will help increase the competitiveness of the game, while still offering the recreational fun that makes Bocce-Ball a hit.
In addition, with Verizon officially offering the iPhone last week, PlayScreen LLC expects to see their daily downloads grow dramatically. Given their current standing in the app charts within the US, they are in a promising position to experience a substantial growth in users.
