Fans of Liverpool rock band The Wombats will be travelling to Dundee in Scotland this spring to catch the band live in concert at the city's Fat Sam's venue.

PHUKET, THAILAND, February 15, 2011 (Press-News.org) The band, whose works include the platinum selling The Wombats Proudly Present: A Guide to Love, Loss and Desperation, will take to the stage at the nightclub and live music venue on 11th March 2011, with their own brand of energetic live performance, which has been honed since their first meeting as students at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.

Tickets for the Dundee date, one of only a few planned live performances by this award-winning band who have received accolades from industry icon NME, are on sale now at GBP13 (plus booking fee) through seetickets.com and ticketmaster.com. The gig, on South Ward Road, will begin at 8pm, with doors opening at 7.30pm. Support at the gig, which is open to over 14s with under 16s needing to be accompanied by an adult, will be provided by Wild Party and Get People.
