Darrick Scruggs of Homes for Sale in Farmington Hills MI Giving a Free Talk at WCCC

Darrick Scruggs, owner of Homes for sale in Farmington Hills MI, division of My First Michigan Home, is giving a free talk for real estate investors at Wayne County Community College (WCCC) on Thursday, February 17, 2011.

2011-02-15
FARMINGTON HILLS, MI, February 15, 2011 (Press-News.org) Darrick Scruggs, owner of Homes for sale in Farmington Hills MI, division of My First Michigan Home, is giving a free talk at the Real Estate Round Table in the Cooper Room of Wayne County Community College (WCCC) on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 6:00 PM. He is going to give tips to investors on how to rehab your property and keep your profit. The website for his company's newest division is located at http://www.HomesForSaleInFarmingtonHillsMI.com.

One of the biggest ways that real estate investors lose money is that they mismanage their repairs. They underestimate the cost or the amount of repairs needed, and that kills an investor since that can eat most or all of the profit margin that they planned to make on the deal.

Scruggs will discuss things that he does to negotiate with contractors. He will make suggestions of things you can do to manage them once you select the contractors and they begin working for you after you buy investment homes for sale in Farmington Hills MI--or anywhere else.

Scruggs' company, My First Michigan Home, is part of his vision of helping so many people find the missing piece of the real estate equation. He aims to make this division of the company the ongoing answer to people's questions--both home buyers and investors.

He wants to find ways to grow his company by helping local area home buyers—not just by finding any homes for sale in Farmington Hills MI, but he wants to help them find the right one. He knows that is how he will likely get the passionate referrals that he usually gets.

As a homeowner, Scruggs has lived in Farmington Hills for the past 10 years. He spent his childhood in Detroit. He attended and graduated from University of Michigan. So he truly understands the buyers who are moving from Detroit into a suburban home but do not know where to start.

He also he understands the value of good schools, and he knows that Farmington Hills has great schools. He knows, because his daughter attends Farmington High School. It's one of the important reasons he moved there--Farmington Hills schools.

For the record, he's even been a business owner in Farmington Hills, and he has close associations with other local business owners.

It doesn't stop at simply being a local expert. He is a subject matter expert, too.

He worked as a mortgage broker for years, helping hundreds of people secure financing, and he has the connections and knows how to get financing for people. For those who have credit issues, he can help structure a lease to own (also called a lease option) program to help these people recover their credit to be able to qualify for a mortgage later.

As a real estate investor, he has bought and sold over 150 properties, and he also owns another real estate company that controls over 75 properties. His last talk was in January 2011. There he gave people tips on how to find tenants that you want to keep. Many landlords in the room appreciated those tips!

So he knows how to help investors find what they want. Plus, he understands that he needs to help other people make money; otherwise, people will not return to him, and he will not be able to stay in business.

He can help property wholesalers, landlords, and rehabbing investors. He knows that you need to make a good return on your investment and has a team in place to help you find that right property. Plus, he has his own crews to help the beginning rehabber who wants to buy investment property but does not have repair crews.

If you would like to learn more about him or how you can buy homes in Farmington Hills MI, you can call him at his office at My First Michigan Home at (248) 796-8616 or visit the website for more information. To see some answers to some of your potential questions, you can visit http://www.homesforsaleinfarmingtonhillsmi.com/p/faq.html.

My First Farmington Hills Home is a division of My First Michigan Home. The owner, Darrick Scruggs, is a 10-year resident, and he has over 15 years of real estate experience and can help "ordinary" home buyers and real estate investors. He knows how to help home buyers obtain financing and whether they might qualify for special down payment programs to make it easier for you to buy homes. For investors, he knows how to help them find a deal and rehab the property. He also has connections to find a paying tenant for your home or help you sell your property at the right price. For more information, you can visit their website at http://www.HomesForSaleInFarmingtonHillsMI.com.
