Burgeoning Actress "Sha'ahn" makes her primetime debut as Mildred Muhammad in the MSNBC Film "I Married the Beltway Sniper"
Film to premiere on Labor Day, September 6, at 10 PM ET on MSNBC
TRENTON, NJ, September 05, 2010
It has been close to eight years since America watched on as one innocent citizen after the other fell between the crosshairs as a victim to the "D.C. Sniper". I Married the Beltway Sniper is an in-depth look into the lives of the individuals that took on the case of John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo; the men behind the terror. Those interviewed for this 2-hour special include Jim Cavanaugh, the ATF's lead investigator on the D.C. Sniper Task Force and Sari Horwitz, a Washington Post reporter who covered the attacks. Also included was Mildred Muhammad, John's ex-wife. Mildred divorced John long before the attacks, yet she was marked as his final target. Mildred talks about John's transformation from caring father of three to an ice-cold murderer.
Philadelphia native and former Marine, Sha'ahn handles all re-enactments as Mildred Muhammad in the film. When chosen for the role, the casting director stated on how remarkably close Sha'ahn was able to resemble Mildred, from her looks to mannerisms.
Sha'ahn learned so much from her role in this film and would love to share her experiences about being on set as well as speaking her mind on a piece of infamous American history.
Websites and Bloggers are welcome to reach me at the email address above. Sha'ahn will be available this weekend for interviews to give you efficient time to post your features on Monday.
