About Our Guest
Dr. Williams works with Cardiac Associates of North Jersey and provides primary and urgent care in cardiology, offering a full range of services that address acute and chronic cardiac related illnesses, including acute heart attack, unstable angina, congestive heart failure and life threatening arrhythmia.
Dr. Williams is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology; he currently practices in all specialties at the following hospitals: Valley Health System, Chilton Memorial Hospital and Bergen Regional Hospital
Prior to joining Cardiac Associates of North Jersey, PA, he served as Chief of Cardiology for the Veterans Affairs Hospital in East Orange, NJ. His clinical interests and expertise are in Hyperlipidemia, cardiovascular research and general cardiology.
Dr. Williams is currently President Elect of the American Heart Association Board and President of the Association of Black Cardiologists, Inc., (ABC) a nonprofit organization with an international membership of 2,500 health professionals, lay members of the community (Community Health Advocates), corporate members, and institutional members. ABC's mission is to champion the elimination of the disparities related to cardiovascular disease in all people of color through education & research.
