Inpatient Management, Inc. Announces Record-Breaking New Business in 2010

IMI hospital clients post 4:1 ROI for Hospitalist Programs and FTE Savings up to $492,000

ST. LOUIS, MO, February 18, 2011 (Press-News.org) Inpatient Management, Inc. (IMI) announces a record-breaking year in new business, with the implementation of eight new contracts during the last six months of 2010 reflecting the record pace for the year. IMI achieved these results through expansion into Louisiana, California and Iowa and additions in existing markets. The company's hospital clients also achieved a 4:1 return on investment for 2010 and hospital cost savings as high as $492,000 per FTE hospitalist.

In 2010, IMI hospital clients reported cost-per-case savings ranging from $1,500 to $1,600 and annualized savings ranging from $3.25 million to $6.4 million. IMI hospital clients posting these results include community hospitals, regional medical centers and academic medical centers.

·Staffing fill rate for established programs of 98%
·Patient satisfaction scores in the 90th percentile
·Risk-adjusted unexpected mortality rates outperforming national benchmarks by 40%
·Exceeded hospital client goals for reduction in average length of stay by as much as 25%
·25% total increase in patient encounters
·Overall 30-day readmission rate of less than 10%
