Live Free - Literally - Thanks to Kaitlin Group's KISS Program

~Comprehensive Program Continues to Offer Innovative Incentives and Support to First-Time Homebuyers ~

2011-02-20
BOWMANVILLE, ON, February 20, 2011 (Press-News.org) Disney World isn't the only place where dreams are coming true these days. With the launch of an exciting new Kaitlin Incredible Super Savings (KISS) homeowner program, the Kaitlin Group is helping first-time homebuyers to live their dreams right here in Ontario.

Called KISS Live Free, the program offers an excellent opportunity for first-time buyers to get into one of 12 remaining inventory townhomes in Aspen Springs, a private enclave community in Bowmanville that is close to schools, shopping, recreation and GO transit. For just $3,500 down - a $500 initial deposit, $1,500 once a deal is firm and $1,500 on move in - purchasers can buy a stunning new hometown and "live free" for the next five months with no rent or mortgage payments due (owners just take care of utilities and related expenses such as insurance). Instead, they continue to make monthly payments of $1,500 during that time that go directly towards the required five per cent minimum down payment which, in most cases, is roughly $11,000.

"Live Free is all about making dreams become reality for first-time buyers," says Kaitlin Group vice-president Gary Daniell, noting that Live Free is just one version of the comprehensive KISS program which varies between developments. "We wanted to come up with a way to help people to save for that initial down payment and so far it's being very well received."

The available Aspen Townhome models range in size from 1,130 to 1,464 square feet and are priced from $219,990 to $249,990. In order to participate in Live Free, homebuyers must first qualify with a financial institution, most of which are continuing to offer fantastic rates, says Daniell.

"Our hometowns are carrying for as little as $792 a month which is less than what many people pay in rent," he says, noting that 85 per cent of homebuyers who took advantage of the KISS program in 2010 opted for a 35-year amortization, an opportunity that will only exist until mid-March when banks are slated to roll back to a 30-year amortization.

"This is a great way to get your foot into the door of a new home, but the window of opportunity is closing," said Daniell.

With Live Free, first-time buyers who are tired of renting can enjoy a maintenance- and worry-free lifestyle in a luxury hometown condominium. Interior highlights of the Aspen Spring Hometowns include custom kitchen cabinetry; family-sized principal rooms; luxurious master ensuites with acrylic tubs and separate showers (as per plan); natural oak finish handrails, pickets and staircases; and, a choice of quality imported tile in the foyer, kitchen, bathrooms and laundry area, with lavish 35-ounce broadloom in all other finished areas. Exterior features include country-inspired rooflines, attractive main doors with glass, 20-year asphalt shingles and single attached garages with sectional roll-up doors.
