Gabriel's Guardians Group announces publication of "Letters From Joan", Written by Joan Wakeford.

2011-03-02
ROWLETT, TX, March 02, 2011 (Press-News.org) LETTERS FROM JOAN is a compilation of memories written as experienced by its author, Joan Wakeford, on her travels around the world as a Missionary for Christ. These stories will tug on your heartstrings, and remind you that all of us are connected as human beings, regardless of distance, ethnicity, gender, or culture.

Joan was born and brought up in South Africa, where she was a member of the Full Gospel Church. Full Gospel sent her to Japan for five years as a missionary, and not too long after that, the door was opened for her to attend Four Square Bible College, and become an ordained evangelist. She has since been traveling, spreading the good Word, and recording her memoirs as she goes.

Joan has since served as the Director of the National Sunday School Association in Natal and Free State, assistant to Rev. Don Eastman of Dallas, Texas at MCC, Pastor of MCC in Austin, Texas, served as interim Pastor of Corpus Christi MCC, and helped established Trinity MCC in Mid-Cities. Joan was also able to assist Rev. Nico Kleynhans to establish a Church in Cape Town, South Africa, with her suggestions, they linked up with MCC.

When God called her to start Joan Wakeford Ministries (a complete faith venture), her life partner, Sharon Boatman, supported her completely. Sharon passed away in June 2005. Joan dedicates this book to her.

Joan will be in Dallas, Houston, Fort Worth, and Austin for book signings, beginning in March. For more information, or to book Joan to sign or speak at your venue, please contact Sara Blue Media.
