Lucifer Furnaces Ships Batch Oven to Grinding Machine Manufacturer

Lucifer Furnaces has provided a large tempering batch oven to a leading heavy equipment manufacturer.

2011-03-03
WARRINGTON, PA, March 03, 2011 (Press-News.org) Lucifer Furnaces, Inc. has delivered a large tempering batch oven to a leading East Coast manufacturer of precision grinding equipment. Key features of this Series 4099 unit include a vertical air flow pattern and wire-on-rod heating elements. A roof mounted stainless steel belt driven fan with a heavy duty motor provides vertical airflow for uniform heat. Coil wound heating elements mounted on ceramic rods on all side walls provide rapid, energy efficient heat and are easy to replace. A stainless steel liner serves to baffle the fan and elements so that air is circulated past the heating elements then upwards through the chamber. The 18 cu ft chamber is complete with cast alloy roller rails to accommodate a large, heavy load. The furnace is lined with 6 ½ inches of multilayered lightweight insulating firebrick and mineral wool block for maximum heat storage and minimum heat loss. The furnace has a horizontal swing door with an adjustable latch to insure a firm brick-to-brick seal. Digital temperature controllers are mounted on a side panel. Powered with 42 KW, this heat treating tempering batch oven reaches 1400°F.

Lucifer Furnaces, Inc. has been a leading manufacturer of industrial ovens and industrial furnaces - heat treating equipment for over 65 years. Originating from a small loft on Broad Street in downtown Philadelphia in 1945, with the production of basic box furnaces, the company has grown in size, developing an array of new product lines and expanding to their present location in Warrington, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

All Lucifer Furnaces are constructed using the highest quality materials to deliver superior performance and dependability. Built with economy in mind, the products feature compact design, easy installation, energy efficient operation and easy-to-replace low watt density heating elements for longer life.
