One of the key new attacks that Mr. Bahadur covered was the threat Social Media security has on corporate users and corporate reputation. Employees or customers can cause a great deal of reputation damage through social media posts. A company has to determine how to monitor and control employee actions regarding direct impacts on the company brand. They must develop a reputation management strategy for customer interactions. One of the key controls a company needs is a Social Media Security Policy that all employees must follow and lays the ground work for future compliance.
