SAN DIEGO, CA, March 04, 2011 (Press-News.org) Voting for the 2011 JDR Industry Blogger Awards is now open. There are 28 nominees this year in five categories: Interior Design, Construction Business, Remodeling, Architecture and Green. Winners will be determined by the number of votes received and announced on April 20, 2011. Each winning blog will receive a $500 cash prize and a 2011 Blogger Awards Winner badge to display.

Sponsored by Jackson Design and Remodeling (JDR), the goal of the JDR Blogger Awards is to bring additional recognition to the work of the best blogs in the business, while promoting the professionalism of the remodeling industry and inspiring clients with the latest trends in home design.

"Last year's Blogger Awards were a great success," said Todd Jackson, president of Jackson Design and Remodeling. "These awards really celebrate the best of our industry, blogs that promote professionalism, educate the public and most importantly, provide inspiration.
