JAMAICA, NY, March 04, 2011 (Press-News.org) Tiffany Johnson, a former victim of domestic violence, is scheduled to release a new book about her experience with an abusive relationship. Her new book entitled, Enough is Enough: This is My Story, is scheduled for release on April, 16th 2011 at the Roy Arias Studios & Theatres in New York City.

According to Johnson, domestic violence abusers all have one thing in common -- to gain control over their victims. In her new book, she shares how she was able to overcome domestic violence and regain control over her life.

More and more people, especially women, are suffering from domestic violence every day. It affects over 32 million Americans, according to the Centers for Disease Control. Domestic violence is an increasing problem that has no respecters of persons. It can happen to any family regardless of their socio-economic class.

The aftermath of domestic violence is incredible. It has an assortment of forms ranging from physical aggression (hitting, punching, kicking, etc.) to emotional abuse.

Domestic violence not only affects the individual who is suffering from the abuse, it also affects the children emotionally and psychologically.

"My son remembers someone, who hurt his mommy so badly, he calls this person the boogieman," says Johnson.

Statistics, taken by the ACADV, shows that approximately 3 million children witness domestic violence annually.

Enough is Enough: This is My Story is a must read for anyone who is currently suffering, or has suffered from an abusive relationship. It can help save a victim's life.

"My book will be able to give hope, when everything seems hopeless," says Johnson.

Her book is a great help to abused victims who want to take back their lives.

Tiffany Johnson is an advocate against domestic violence. As a former victim and a survivor of abuse, Johnson no longer lives in fear. In her new book, she shares how she was able to convert her fear into strength.
