The study details how ENGlobal Corporation, a provider of engineering and project management services, created a solution that lets users instantly grasp the status of each project. ENGlobal created the portal with Visual Fusion business intelligence software from IDV Solutions. Visual Fusion unites data sources in a visual, interactive context for better insight and understanding.

The portal provides ENGlobal's project engineers and clients with color-coded map views of complex projects such as pipelines and electrical transmission lines. Such projects can entail hundreds of land acquisitions and right-of-way agreements, and require ongoing coordination among ENGlobal, its clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
