LateRooms.com - Enjoy the Secret Light Garden During a Tenby Stay

The Secret Light Garden will take place at Picton Castle on October 8th and 9th.

2010-09-08
TENBY, ENGLAND, September 08, 2010 (Press-News.org) A forthcoming event at Pembrokeshire's Picton Castle may appeal to people spending time in nearby Tenby.

On the evenings of October 8th and 9th, the grounds of the castle are set to be transformed into the Secret Light Garden.

Described by the organisers as "a magical sensory night-lit experience", the event will provide the chance to see the medieval building in a unique light.

Details of the Secret Light Garden have been kept to a minimum so far, perhaps to increase the sense of mystery, but people staying in one of the many hotels Tenby has to offer can expect a memorable evening.

As well as the lights, visitors can look forward to food and drink, market stalls, live music, theatrical performances and special art installations at Picton Castle on both nights.

Advance tickets for the event are currently priced at GBP7 for adults and GBP4 for children, while a family pass can be purchased for GBP20. Tickets bought on the night will cost slightly more.

Situated near Haverfordwest, the castle was originally built at the end of the 13th century and the descendents of its first inhabitant, Sir John Wogan, still live on the site.

For more information on this event, visit the Secret Light Garden website or contact the organisers on 01437 751 326.

Teenagers and Their Families Need to Consider Auto Insurance Options

2010-09-08
Companies that issue auto insurance policies determine their rates by analyzing the amount of risk that is posed by a driver -- the lower the risk, the lower the premium rate. Unfortunately for some motorists, certain unchangeable factors flag them as "high risk" and inhibit their ability to enjoy the lowest premiums offered by an insurance carrier. Many teenagers encounter this harsh reality upon setting out to find a first policy. Young drivers have minimal experience behind the wheel, and it will take some comparison shopping to find an insurer that will take on such ...
