LateRooms.com - London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival Begins in March

The London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival will once again attract some of the best productions from around the world.

LONDON, ENGLAND, March 05, 2011 (Press-News.org) The 25th annual London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival will kick off at the British Film Institute (BFI) at the end of the month.

It will show some of the finest features, documentaries and shorts from around the world.

The event entices about 250,000 visitors each year and the organisers will no doubt want to attract even more in 2011.

As well as being one of the most important LGBT cinema occasions in the world, the London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival is also the third biggest overall movie event held in the UK.

The full programme of screenings is available to view now, with the festival itself beginning on March 31st and going on until April 6th.

Tickets for individual showings will be GBP9.50, but concessions are available.

Visitors can expect to have a choice of about 250 new international films to choose from, in addition to special events involving archive material provided by the BFI.

The closest Underground station to the cinema complex is Waterloo.
