Hotels-London.co.uk - Kelis to Perform at London Venue

London's Shepherd's Bush Empire will host a gig by popular R'n'B singer Kelis this autumn.

2010-09-08
LONDON, ENGLAND, September 08, 2010 (Press-News.org) Music fans booked into London hotels around Friday October 1st may have the chance to go and see Kelis perform live at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire.

The gig is sure to feature tracks from her multi-genre-spanning career, including best-selling anthems such as Milkshake and Caught Out There.

Any parents worried they will not be able to take their children to see the Grammy-nominated artist can rest assured that under-14s are able to enter, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

As well as her major singles, Kelis will no doubt dip into her back catalogue of albums, which include debut record Kaleidoscope, 2003's Tasty and this year's release Flesh Tone.

The performer recently headlined the Manchester Pride Festival, which took place over the August bank holiday weekend and saw thousands of revellers enjoying Kelis' unique brand of R'n'B.

According to the Manchester Evening News, she was one of the most popular acts of the whole weekend.

Audiences in London will no doubt be hoping to enjoy a stunning show from the artist, perhaps even including the cover of Madonna's Holiday that she performed in Manchester.

Doors open at 19:00 BST on the night, but it has not been confirmed at exactly what time the singer will hit the stage.

Tickets for the concert cost GBP22.50 and can be ordered online.

For more information on this event visit the Shepherd's Bush Empire website or contact the venue on 0870 7712000.
