LONDON, ENGLAND, September 08, 2010 (Press-News.org) Nomita Vaish, a well-travelled Mum and business entrepreneur, has setup ebabee, a dedicated auction website for parents to list baby products completely for free.
After finding it difficult to find a place to sell her baby products that she no longer needed directly to her target market and at an affordable price, Nomita decide to create a website that would be of use to both her, her friends and every other parent around the world.
In addition, ebabee also acts as a resource for parents and covers everything from information on fantastic and useful bargains and special offers to money saving hints and tips, all of which are related solely to babies, toddlers and maternity.
With no auction site dedicated solely to baby items and a certain level of difficulty apparent in both the listing and purchasing of items on some of the larger auction websites without first trawling through pages of unnecessary and irrelevant items, ebabee has been setup by a mum, for mums.
The aim is simple - to give parents the ability to sell any baby products they no longer need or purchase ones they require in a straightforward auction format where the fees are not extortionate and actually make the process worthwhile. Whilst some larger auction websites allow for almost any item to be listed or purchased, you generally have to search through page after page of listings before you find the item you want.
Nomita Vaish-Taylor, the entrepreneur behind ebabee, said "I have a 19 month old girl and know just how many pieces of clothing, accessories and toys you can accumulate! I also know how difficult it can be to pack these things up and get them down to a shop to be sold when you have a young child and so the most logical thing to do was to be able to do it from home."
"Like everyone, I'm more than aware that there are some large auction sites available which could fulfil my buying and selling needs - but they just weren't meeting my requirements. There were either too many businesses on them so it was almost impossible for my items to be seen or the fees were so high it wasn't worth the time or effort listing them."
"And so ebabee was created, an auction website that is devoted to affordable buying and selling of baby products, as well as acting as a resource for parents, useful for when you're waiting for those last few bids to come in on your items!"
Having been in development since January 2010, ebabee launched officially on 6 September 2010 and to mark the occasion, the first 50 people who sign up throughout September 2010 and list at least one product will be entered into a prize draw to win a GBP25 Early Learning Centre voucher.
Founded in 2010, ebabee.co.uk has been setup by a mum, for mums with the sole intention of providing an auction service to the parenting market which is easy, affordable and most importantly of all, enjoyable.
