Gibraltar Takes World Trade Center to MIPIM 2011

OJEN, SPAIN, March 09, 2011 (Press-News.org) Dubbed "the world's premier real estate event for professionals", MIPIM 2011 is about to descend on Cannes. Running from 8 to 11 March, the occasion gathers together key players in the global real estate industry and Gibraltar's World Trade Center is preparing for its MIPIM debut.

Gibraltar's application to establish a World Trade Center (WTC) was approved by the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) at the conclusion of its Annual General Assembly in Beijing, China, in October of last year. This gives Gibraltar the 335th licence to be awarded across the globe to develop international trade.

With outline planning permission already in place, the seven-storey 15,000m² WTC Gibraltar building will effectively treble the office space already sold or leased at the Ocean Village development.
