2011-03-10
DARLINGTON, PA, March 10, 2011 (Press-News.org) Nexteve organised the Dress Designing Contest 2011 for teenagers all across America. Over a hundred wonderful designs we accepted into the next phase - public voting and reviewing. Judging will be based on public voting and popularity of the designs. The popularity of a design will be based on the number of people sharing it on social media tools like Facebook and Twitter. Contestants will be campaigning all through till the 1st of May in order to popularise their designs.

Nexteve have organised "Dress Designing Contest 2011" for budding talent across the United Sates of America with USD 1500 to give away in cash prizes.

With most teenagers getting busy with their Prom shopping, the dress-designing contest has been well received. With cash prizes on offer, getting a dress made of your winning design with your winning amount is truly priceless.

Applicants were asked to submit their original designs along with a short description of their design and how they were inspired from January 10th to March 1st 2011. There was no compulsion on the number of entries and each applicant could send in multiple entries.

To avoid any discrepancies in the judging process, each entry shall be subjected to public voting. The winning entries shall be designs with the best public voting score and popularity, where the voting score is the total number of votes multiplied by the average rating, and popularity is measured in terms of number of sharing across the Internet.

Participants will be very busy until the 1st of May campaigning for their designs, by word of mouth and using their Facebook and Twitter accounts. The idea is to popularise their designs and descriptions and urge people to vote.

Nexteve will soon put up banners urging people to cast their vote. Since votes are limited to one vote for every one dress, it would be interesting to see who is the winner. Voters will be seen sharing the designs of their choice on Facebook and Twitter accounts that will be a measure of the popularity of the design. Obviously, the winner will be someone who has put in enough effort in campaigning for their design and the design, which is seen, as most wearable.

The voting is open to the public and takes just a few seconds. Everyone is invited to cast her/his opinions for these wonderful prom dress designs. For details, please visit http://www.nexteve.com/cms/p600/public-review-and-voting-2011-prom-dr ... n-contest/

The voting ends on the 1st of May and after that the contestants can sit back and relax until the results are announced in the second week of May. The winners of this competition will be notified by email and prizes will be paid by the end of the month.
