Cruise Amour Appoints Business Development Manager

Cruise Amour has appointed Kate Scott as business development manager to take responsibility for the future growth of its franchise network

DORSET, ENGLAND, March 11, 2011 (Press-News.org) Cruise Amour has seen significant business growth over recent months, which is due in no small part to the rapid development of its franchise network. To continue this growth and to bring additional resource and skills to the business as it pursues other opportunities, the company has appointed Kate Scott as business development manager.

Kate comes to Cruise Amour from the airline industry where she made a name for herself introducing new solutions into the onboard retail space whilst forging strong relationships with top international airlines such as Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, Emirates, American Airlines, Singapore Airlines and Air Canada to name but a few. In addition Kate pioneered the expansion of the product line into the Cruise Holiday marketplace securing contracts with Carnival Cruises, Ocean Village and P&O.

When asked what appealed about the position, Kate responded, "The cruise market is growing exponentially despite the current economic climate. Cruise Amour has clear direction and drive and I very much want to be a part of their plans for the future".

Kate will immediately take responsibility for support and growing the company's UK network of franchisees and over the next 6 months will take a more active role in the Management team working on taking Cruise Amour into Europe. Managing director Tim Hurrell, explained "We're extremely pleased to welcome Kate to the role. Her track record and motivation for the role are very encouraging. As she finds her feet over the next couple of weeks I have no doubt that she will become a valuable asset to our management team".

Cruise Amour, although only a couple of year old has already been instrumental in revolutionising the cruise travel industry and enjoys preferred partner status will all the major cruise lines. Hurrell continued: "Cruise Amour has always taken a customer driven approach to the way it does business focussing on two key principles - get it right first time and no customer request is too much trouble, this applies just as much to our franchise business and I'm sure Kate will do a great job of conveying this to potential franchisees."
