Adventure Golf Services Signs on as Starting Time's First Authorized Dealer of the Fun and Exciting Golf Putting Kit

2011-03-11
OCEANSIDE, CA, March 11, 2011 (Press-News.org) As demand for My mini Golf line continues to grow, Starting Time has signed on its first authorized dealer, Adventure Golf Services (AGS) to expand the product's availability in family entertainment centers and facilities.
Starting Time and AGS first connected earlier this year at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando and immediately recognized the synergy that could be created through a strategic alliance.
"AGS has exactly what we are looking for in a partner," explained Hugh Penton, president, Starting Time. "They have the infrastructure in place to build on the momentum that has been created with My mini Golf, and take it to the next level."
AGS has designed, constructed and installed its products in a variety of venues across the globe, including U.S. Army facilities, Mall of America, General Motors, Royal Caribbean and others. The firm immediately saw the growth potential of My mini Golf in its vertical markets that include amusement parks and attractions, game rooms/arcades, cruise lines, city/municipal recreation and parks, and more.
"This is a fantastic tool for teaching golf to very young children or helping avid players keep their putting skills sharp," said Scott Lundmark, AGS vice president.
My mini Golf is affordable: Prices range from $12.95 to $55 for individual obstacles, and from $150 to $460 for individual and team sets that come with clubs, balls and score pads.
Developed in Germany in 2007, My mini Golf was named winner of the prestigious GolfEurope Product award and an award from an independent German toy association for quality and innovation.
My mini Golf transforms golf into an activity someone can pick up and play anytime, anywhere. The 19-piece set includes 13 My mini Golf shapes, putting disc, children's rubber putter, score cards, two balls and a mesh storage bag. The products are made out of weather-proof, durable plastic, can be played on any smooth surface, outdoor or indoor. From backyard to basement, there is no excuse for the putting game to get rusty or for children to be bored when the weather does not permit for a day out on the course. The pieces come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors, making the game exciting and preparing golfers for any green.
