BOHEMIA, NY, March 12, 2011 (Press-News.org) Passaic New Jersey and its surrounding areas are set to be hit with major river flooding late this evening and is set to continue throughout the weekend. A major storm system is expected to drop at least 3.5 inches of rain over the Delaware, Passaic and Raritan Rivers and drive them over their banks. As a result of the ensuing floods, New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie has declared a state of emergency.
Flood Control, LLC. - a nationwide damage restoration company - is prepared for the flooding and is ready to assist those suffering from basement floods, failed sump pumps, mold growth/removal , wet carpet water extraction and more. It is crucial that skilled technicians assist the affected areas as fast as possible so that any secondary damage such as mold, wet document and structural integrity loss does not occur.
"When major floods like those expected to hit New Jersey occur, it is so important to be ready. Water damage can have many consequences and the damages it causes can devastate a person's house and belongings," says Flood Control Partner, Steven Hittelman. Flood Control has numerous technicians ready throughout Passaic, Essex and Morris Counties. The more technicians sent to the affected area, the better because help will be difficult to come by in the very beginning.
Most recently, Flood Control mobilized its certified technicians to Ohio to help with the major flooding and torrential rain residents were experiencing. Flood Control was able to service both commercial and residential properties and spent a significant amount of time in the area to make sure everyone was accounted for. By preparing for the worst ahead of time, damages were greatly minimized for people.
Flood Control, LLC. specializes in flood damage repair, water damage removal, sewage cleanup, mold remediation and fire damage restoration. Flood Control, Inc. can be reached at its national number at 1-800-973-0041. Please visit http://www.floodcontroller.com/ and http://www.facebook.com/FloodControlInc for more information.
