2011-03-15
FORT WORTH, TX, March 15, 2011 (Press-News.org) On March, 8, 2011, Chef Point Cafe broke ground on expansion of their unique Fort Worth restaurant. Yes, the folks at Chef Point Cafe can cater and serve amazing eats, even throughout construction. Once completely renovated, this gas station eatery will be able to offer even more seating, a new party space and full bar. A tasting was also held on this significant day where 5 celebrity judges chose their favorite new dishes.

Chef Point Cafe is out to razzle and dazzle with future plans for faithful fans. The March 8, groundbreaking ceremonies marked the new beginning for owners, Franson and Paula Nwaeze. They know that none of this growth would be possible without the support of their loyal fans. "We appreciate all those who keep coming back," says Paula Nwaeze. At current capacity, this Fort Worth restaurant can seat 75 with 15 tables but with the new, added space, up to 160 people at one time may be accommodated. A much larger kitchen with expanded prep areas will allow the professionals more room to do what they do best; cook. "Just imagine what I can create in this new, expanded kitchen," says Chef Franson Nwaeze.

Ain't no party like a Chef Point party and that means making way for an exclusive space for private parties. Rehearsal dinners, graduation celebrations, baby showers, corporate meetings, family reunions and more can be booked in this elite party area at the Chef Point Cafe. With an additional 3000 square feet being added to the venue, staff will now be able to cater on-site. Patrons seeking adult beverages will also be able to drink and dine simultaneously as they gain access to a new full-service bar. Cheers to Chef Point Cafe!

Impatient guests need not fear. Tackling such a massive project while conducting regular business will not be a problem for the skilled professionals at this Fort Worth restaurant. Service will continue as usual throughout renovations, so fans can keep enjoying Chef Point Cafe's favorites they know and love. The grand reopening is slated for June of 2011, and will undoubtedly draw hungry hordes.

Excitingly enough, breaking ground on a larger Chef Point Cafe was not the only thing that occurred during the March 8, ceremony. Celebrities tasted four, newly created dishes. Judges included television and radio personality, J.D. Ryan, former Dallas Cowboy, Michael Downs, author, Andre Johnson, pastor, Dr. Bobby Herrell and Watauga Mayor, Harry Jeffries. Each celebrity judge selected a favorite and named it as well. Log onto http://www.Chefpointcafe.org to see who chose what, come taste the trial dishes in person, then vote for your very own favorite online. Whichever creation receives the most votes by May 30, will become a new signature dish for Chef Point Cafe.
