LITTLETON, CO, March 15, 2011

Joan Rogliano, Founder of The Wildflower Womens Foundation was honored by the Women's Information Network with an Outstanding Service Award. The award was given as part of the International Women's Day Celebration which held its historic 100th Anniversary today. Held annually on March 8, this global event creates diverse local awareness through business and networking events, political rallies, and social opportunities for women to connect and support one another. This year gatherings were held in 176 countries.

"This is such a humbling honor," Rogliano said. "To be even a small part of this powerful event and bring attention to the urgent work the Wildflower Womens Foundation is doing for women and families, is very exciting. There is symmetry to our mission and that of the International Women's Day Celebration."

Founded in 2010, the Wildflower Womens Foundation is dedicated to supporting women and families going through the transitions of divorce and widowhood, by providing educational, legal and financial advocacy, with a strong community network.
