SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, March 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) Families heading to Sydney in April will find plenty to keep them occupied at the Royal Easter Show.
A variety of farmyard animals will be exhibited at the event, which takes place at the Olympic Park Showground between April 14th and 27th.
Those who prefer something a bit more exotic might like to head to the Australian Wildlife Display section, where experts will be on hand to introduce visitors to native creatures.
Founder Anthony Stimson will be exhibiting live crocodiles, lizards, snakes and marsupials.
The expert is preparing to reveal some interesting facts about the critters and answer questions from the public.
"I have made it my life mission to try to reach as many people as I can to pass on my love of the Australian bush and to inspire concern and action to protect its awesome wildlife," he said.
An array of carnival rides will be on offer and other entertainment includes the Lumberjack Show and traditional favourites including a fireworks fiesta.
In the main arena there will be a spectacular demonstration lasting two-and-a-half hours.
Earlybird tickets for families are on sale until March 29th costing AU$96 and passes can be bought after that date for AU$101.70.
