BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND, March 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Hall for Cornwall is preparing to stage a trio of performances by the Birmingham Royal Ballet next month.

Members of the audience will enjoy seeing one of the UK's leading dance companies in a series of thrilling excerpts from some of the world's most famous ballets.

Taking place on Friday April 22nd and Saturday April 23rd, the shows form part of the company's spring tour of the south-west and are sure to delight ballet enthusiasts.

The dancers will take to the stage at 19:30 BST on both evenings, with a matinee scheduled for 14:30 on the Saturday afternoon.

Famous dances from Tchaikovsky's The Sleeping Beauty, The Dream by Frederick Ashton and Leo Delibes' Coppelia will be among those performed at the Truro venue.

The company will also treat theatre-goers to the Allegri Diversi, an energetic classical ballet to a score by Rossini.

Tickets are now available online, priced between GBP15 and GBP22 for the evening performances. Seats for the matinee show are available for between GBP12.50 and GBP15.50.
