By 2000 the area covered by Khatib & Alami has grown substantially and covered Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Syria, Sudan, Yemen, Kuwait, Egypt, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Belgium and US, emphasising the extraordinary rate of expansion at the company.Since 1984 Khatib & Alami have continuously been ranked among the top 100 international design firms according to the US Engineering News Record (ENR) magazine.
The company's services cover a wide range of activities including the preparation and feasibility of construction projects, preliminary designs, detailed working drawings, technical specifications, bills of quantities, conditions of contracts, analysis of tenders, supervision of construction, preparation of interim and final payments, control of material testing, plant utelisation and cost control, provisional and final taking over of the projects and project management.
With such a wide scope of services, the company has had to expand the number of people it employs; in 2011, the company employs in excess of 3000 skilled staff ranging from architects and engineers to technicians and administrators.
