The company operates in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region, servicing cross border transport to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Mozambique, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi.

Northern Haulage, with 260 employees, specialises in the supply and transportation to the agricultural, mining and civil engineering sectors that by their very nature include abnormal loads.

Northern Haulage, through strategic alliances, has offices located in Johannesburg, Harare, Beitbridge and Lusaka, allowing them to provide a continued, co-ordinated and supported service chain throughout the SADC.

Director Richard Mann explains further, "We have our own clearing office at the border between South Africa and Zimbabwe, a main artery for transportation. We offer a complete service to our customers and are looking to expanding it to further border posts."

"We operate under strong core values and as a result tend to be able to target like-minded customers.

"Although there are a number of operations similar to us, we offer a very reliable and flexible service and as a result have a client base that keeps returning."

Northern Haulage says it has a very customer-centric approach that has led to its success.
