Quiet Riot Gets Set To Tour Australia April And May 2011

In the continuing legacy of one of the hard rock generation's most influential recording and performing acts, Quiet Riot returns to the land down under.

2011-03-19
LOS ANGELES, CA, March 19, 2011 (Press-News.org) They've got the boys to make the noise, and with a triple-threat billing, US Hard Rockers Quiet Riot are taking the Metal Health 2011 Tour to Australia beginning April 29th at the Palace in Melbourne. Tickets have been released and can be acquired through the links available at http://www.intense-impact.com.

As announced earlier this year by drummer Frankie Banali on Los Angeles radio 95.5 KLOS, Quiet Riot will perform in Australia and New Zealand as part of the Metal Health 2011 tour. On stage, fans will witness the familiar faces of original Quiet Riot members Frankie Banali on drums and Chuck Wright masterfully on the bass guitar. On the six string razor is Alex Grossi, a member of Kevin DuBrow's touring regime outside of the Quiet Riot performances and leading the band is Southern California vocalist Mark Huff offering a remarkable resemblance to the vocals of Kevin DuBrow live and in person. This isn't a computer-aided effort - Huff is naturally a crystal clear ringer for the style and power of legendary front man Kevin DuBrow. US performances have proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Quiet Riot, in both the music and the live performance, is as strong and well received as it has ever been by hard rock music fanatics worldwide.

In support, L.A.Guns will also perform on the bill featuring original vocalist and songwriter Phil Lewis with Boston native Steve Riley on drums, former Roxx Gang guitar virtuoso Stacey Blades and Sunset Strip veteran Scotty Griffin on bass. Warrant also performs on this leg of the Quiet Riot tour, featuring vocalist Robert Mason, formerly of Lynch Mob.

The shows dates beneath the equator are as follows:

Friday, April 29th at the Palace in Melbourne.
Saturday, April 30th at the Anu Bar in ACT (Australian Capital Territory)
Monday, May 2nd at the Power Station in Auckland, New Zealand
Thursday, May 5th at the HQ Complex in Adelaide
Friday, May 6th at Metro City in Pearth
Saturday, May 7th at Tivoli in Brisbane
Sunday, May 8th at the Metro in Sydney

(Dates confirmed by the tour management's website at http://www.intense-impact.com)

Instead two years later, there is still confusion, and according to many, underutilized opportunities. Most small businesses agree that the Recovery Act's impact is difficult to quantify. While a number of companies credit their survival during the turbulence of the past two years to the Recovery and Reinvestment Act, many are skeptical. They contend that the law - over a thousand pages — is onerous and limited in many areas where they were hoping to see more. Most ...
