SALT LAKE CITY, UT, March 20, 2011 (Press-News.org) Community Nursing Services (CNS) a non- profit Home Health and Hospice organization, will host the 23rd annual Art & Soup Celebration March 23-24, 2011 at the Sheraton Hotel located at 150 West 500 South, Salt Lake City. Leading artists from the area will display their works at the 2 day event. Carole Wade of Park City is this year's featured artist. She paints her impressions of the West in vibrant colors that capture the spirit of the people and place.

Funds raised by the event support the CNS mission to help those who lack insurance or means when faced with illness or injury. "Our commitment is to the people of the communities we serve by delivering experiences and moments through the highest quality care possible." said Brent Jones, CEO of Community Nursing Services. "Most people prefer to be taken care of at home in these situations. Our teams support the patient, caregivers and family to ensure the patient's comfort. Art & Soup gives us the means to help people who otherwise can't afford in home care."

With over 80 years of health care experience in Utah, Community Nursing Services cares for people in their homes as they deal with serious injury or terminal illness. The team approach, under the direction of Dr. Anna Beck, a well- known Utah cancer specialist, includes physicians, nurses, dietitians, therapists, religious advisors and music thanatologists.
