West Monroe Partners Adds Four Directors

West Monroe Partners today announced the hiring of four new directors in Chicago.

CHICAGO, IL, March 20, 2011 (Press-News.org) West Monroe Partners, a management consulting firm, today announced the hiring of four new directors in Chicago, filling key local and national leadership positions in areas of focus that include capital markets, insurance, finance transformation, and change management and organizational design.

Perry Buffett joins West Monroe Partners' Enterprise Practice as a director specializing in change management and organizational design. Buffett, with more than 17 years of consulting experience, most recently was a senior associate with Booz & Company, where he led strategic projects focusing on organizational design, change management, cost reduction, and leadership scope. Previously, he held executive positions with Slalom, a Chicago-based management consulting company, and with Accenture.

Cindy De Armond joins West Monroe Partners as national leader for the firm's Insurance industry team. De Armond has more than 24 years of experience in core insurance leadership and transformation, most recently as an executive responsible for partner insurance strategy and transformation operations for IBM Business Consulting Services. In this capacity, she coordinated services to key accounts across the United States and co-led the Policy Administration Solution practice. She also has held several executive roles with Zurich—Universal Underwriters Group.

Dan Hartnett joins the Enterprise Practice as a director specializing in finance transformation. He has 25 years of consulting and industry experience across a range of industries. Prior to joining West Monroe Partners, Hartnett was a managing director with Jefferson Wells, a management consulting firm that provides finance, audit, and tax solutions for mid-sized and large companies. He previously held executive roles with Computer Sciences Corporation and Kraft Foods and began his career as an accountant with KPMG Peat Marwick.

Brett Paulson is a director and leader of the firm's Capital Markets & Trading practice. He joins West Monroe Partners from ETM Global in Chicago, an organization he founded to provide management consulting, enterprise application development, and infrastructure management consulting services. Previously, he held several senior executive roles, including president and chief operating officer for The Clearing Corporation (formerly Board of Trade Clearing Corporation). He also held executive roles with CS First Boston, Integrated Systems Solutions Corporation and Continental Bank, and Harris Trust and Savings Bank.
