CIO Healthcare Summit Partners with Arizona HIMSS

The CIO Healthcare Summit team announced today that it has partnered with the Arizona Chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) for the upcoming technology event, April 3-6, 2011.

HONOLULU, HI, March 20, 2011 (Press-News.org) The CIO Healthcare Summit team announced today that it has partnered with the Arizona Chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) for the upcoming technology event, April 3-6, 2011 at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The CIO Healthcare Summit brings together CIOs, healthcare technology leaders, IT analysts and solution providers to discuss the latest IT topics and trends in a relaxed, yet focused business setting. The CIO Healthcare Summit Content Committee, a group of innovative CIOs and IT executives from the nation's leading hospitals and healthcare providers, chose the topics featured on this year's agenda. Topics to be discussed include cloud computing and consumer technology, smartphones and tablets, the future of electronic health records, the changing role of the CIO, and clinical innovation.

Established in 1994, Arizona HIMSS provides leadership to foster the advancement and effective use of information technology in Arizona healthcare. Its professional members include individuals in the fields of information systems, clinical systems, management engineering, and telecommunications, as well as students, faculty and clinicians.
