COCONUT CREEK, FL, March 24, 2011 (Press-News.org) Bru's Room Sports Grill will host its 22nd Annual South Florida Golf tournament on May 14, 2011 at Palm Aire Country Club in Pompano Beach, Florida. In addition, to the 280 golfers at Palm Aire, Bru's Room is adding a second tournament in 2011 and hosting its 9th annual North Tournament at Winston Trails Golf Club in Lake Worth, Florida. Proceeds from both tournaments will benefit the newly formed Bru's Buddies Community Legacy Program, helping local charities throughout Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
Over the past two decades Bru's Room has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to local charities. The Bru's Buddies Community Legacy Program was designed to help organizations that exhibit good sportsmanship, academic excellence, community spirit or simply touch their heart. In prior years, Bru's Room has given to SOS Children's Village, Surfers for Autism, March of Dimes, Ronald McDonald House, Jeb Bush Cystic Fibrosis Charity and many more worthy causes.
"I've always believed in paying it forward and giving back to the local community," said Bob Brudzinski, one of the owners of Bru's Room Sports Grill and former Miami Dolphins linebacker.
