LOS ANGELES, CA, March 25, 2011 (Press-News.org) Pacific Group, a licensee of Two Lips, announces the debut of the brand's handbag collection. Known for its contemporary footwear designs, Two Lips caters to the sophisticated young professional.
"The Two Lips handbag launch needed to be an extension of an already successful footwear brand," said Teri Santella, Pacific Group President of All Branded Divisions of All Handbags and Accessories. "The vision for each collection is unique in its design, function and appeal while maintaining the integrity of the brand. This eclectic collection offers something new and fresh in the handbag department. The Two Lips customer is a working professional who wants to look modern and sophisticated with a trendy twist. The collections are fashion-driven from daytime to anytime and will be in stores this coming Fall 2011. We will be presenting a holiday collection at the upcoming markets and plan to introduce a diffusion line under the 2 Lips Too brand. The Two Lips collections will be retailing from $35 to $98, and we plan to have the 2 Lips Too brand retail from $25 to $50. Coming soon are fashion, cosmetic, travel and tech accessories which will also be introduced for Holiday collections."
The eclectic line offers a variety of shapes and sizes including slouchy hobos and chic cross-body bags, as well as structured clutches and wristlets. The color palette is mostly neutral with combinations of black, brown and gray. Purple serves as the primary pop of color, but the bags also incorporate shades of blue and green, as well as new and fresh metallics.
Appropriate for day and night, totes and handhelds from the Sequin Group feature reversible sequins. These sparkling disks produce an ombre effect that gives depth to the designs. The Woven Group's rich aesthetic is created by the combination of metallic, matte and canvas materials on simple silhouettes. Styles in the lush Nylon Group and modern Buckled Up Group are adorned with branded hardware and signature hexagon-shaped studs. The 6-sided figure is also prominent in the Hexagon Patchwork Group, which features an art deco-inspired pattern on statement-making silhouettes.
