Classic Journeys Presents their Pick of the Pix Photo Contest

Classic Journeys, a unique travel experience company, is currently hosting their 2011 photo contest, where participants can have a chance to vote on their favorite vacation pictures and win up to $1000.

LA JOLLA, CA, March 26, 2011 (Press-News.org) Classic Journeys, a unique travel company, is having their 2011 "Pick of the Pix" contest. Since 1995, they have been redefining what the ultimate vacation experience entails with their new and different cultural walking tours. What makes these kinds of tours so different is that they blend moderate walking in small groups with a great deal of up-close exposure to the local life in all of the 68 regions they visit. On these cultural walking tours, you will get to experience and learn about the culture and history of your destination with the company of a full-time local guide. In addition, your remarkable lodgings on these tours come with full amenities, as well as gourmet meals.

Right now, Classic Journeys is putting on their "Pick of the Pix" Photo Contest, where you can find yourself the lucky winner of $1000. To participate, all you need is to have gone on a Classic Journeys vacation and taken some pictures. Once you find up to 5 of your favorite pictures, attach them in an e-mail to moreinfo@classicjourneys.com, with the subject stating "2011 Photo Contest." For each picture, include the date and place where taken. Additionally, please write a few sentences explaining why the picture is so special, the people in it, and the place. Finally, don't forget to write your contact information including full name, e-mail address, and phone number in your e-mail.

The deadline for the photo contest is Friday, April 8, 2011. Starting the following week, April 15th, 10 finalist pictures will be posted on the Classic Journeys Facebook page. Up until noon of Friday, May 6, you will be able to vote on your favorite of these finalists. 1st Prize winner will
receive a $1000 travel credit, with $750 for 2nd and $500 for 3rd. Feel free to also check out their contest page on their website for more information about Classic Journeys and the "Pick of the Pix" contest.
