Father Daughter Mix-Up Causes Huge Mix-Up at the IRS - Blue Tax to the Rescue!

The IRS requested a copy of the mortgage agreement because the IRS was receiving erroneous info in the father's name from the daughter's mortgage lender. The client sent in the lender's document accompanied by a letter from his daughter's mortgage lender stating that the father was not supposed to be on the loan.

The Blue Tax team of experts was able to get the IRS and the State to agree that they had no filing requirements for years 2007 and 2008. Since Steve had sold some stocks and property in 2006, he was required to file for that year. Blue Tax prepared and submitted those return filings within two weeks. This mix-up was finally solved and this father could breathe easy!
