VENTNOR, NJ, March 30, 2011 (Press-News.org) In the world of wizardry and children's books one legend continues to grow. A young author and entrepreneur simply known as The Winkle has carved out a niche in the South Jersey area that is spreading by leaps and bounds and soon will break on the national scene. The Winkle is known by many names but answers to Steven Paul Winkelstein, a 25 year old Margate NJ resident. Winkelstein started Mystic Waters Publishing in 2009 to launch his first book, 'Elephant, Elephant Come Alive!' and followed it up in 2010 with 'The Diving Horse and the Magic Whistle.' He has been working hard on building the company, while supporting the arts in the community. His newest Lucy book 'Lucy's Great Adventure' comes out this June. Aside from developing Mystic Waters & children's books he is currently shopping other projects around. A fantasy novel about a young pirate captain and his quest against the New Jersey Devil. Also, Sparky PI: an animation pilot about a cat detective who specializes in celebrity pet cases. The Winkle also helps his script-writing partner and fellow creator Jay Schultz market the new card game sweeping the nation called SkittyKitts.
Besides writing, Winkelstein speaks at school assemblies & does readings in the South Jersey area.
On April 2nd he will "appear" at the March of Dimes Walk Event at The Cheese board in Linwood, NJ. The Winkle will be signing and selling his books and meeting the guests along with former NBA coach/player, Chris Ford.
