Mosaic Community Services Chooses Serenic Navigator Financial Management Software and Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, AVF Consulting, Inc.

BALTIMORE, MD, March 31, 2011 (Press-News.org) Mosaic Community Services, an affiliate of The Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Foundation, has chosen Serenic Navigator as their financial management software and Serenic AwardVision for grant management. AVF Consulting, a Microsoft Gold Certified partner and leading Serenic partner, will provide the implementation and consulting services.

Mosaic Community Services is a licensed residential rehabilitation provider and provides behavioral health services at locations throughout Baltimore County, Carroll County, and Baltimore City, Maryland. In addition to being a residential rehabilitation provider, Mosaic operates outpatient clinics, day programs, vocational programs, and provides services to children and adolescents. Mosaic needed a financial management solution to provide robust fund accounting capabilities, grant and donor management functionality, and the ability to manage costs associated with their residential and commercial properties. Serenic's suite of products addressed all of their needs.

Deal anticipates that using Serenic will free her team up to focus on other important projects like instituting an electronic health record system and managing a recent merger.

"One thing that really stood out about Serenic Navigator was the ability to retrieve data and manipulate it for review in a way that other systems just could not do," says Deal. "We were impressed with features like the purchase requisition portal and the workflow and approval process integration. Serenic's dimension codes are also key for sorting and reporting data."

Serenic Navigator will enable Mosaic's team to access and manipulate data with flexibility and ease. What used to be a five step process for exporting and managing data will now be completed in one step. Mosaic's team will be able to provide accurate and complete reports to their board and management team for statistical analysis and decision making. They will also be able to review the costs of their properties by physical address and analyze which properties are most cost effective and provide the most value to the residents of the rehabilitation program. Mosaic plans to add Serenic DonorVision and portals in the second phase of their implementation.

Mosaic purchased Serenic software from Baltimore-based partner, AVF Consulting. "We are really happy with the service that AVF Consulting provides," says Deal. "They manage the implementation methodically and stick to the timeline. The service has been great."
