NAPLES, ITALY, September 10, 2010 (Press-News.org) Travellers heading to Naples hotels in the coming weeks may have the chance to take part in a special activity as part of the city's Summer Museums festival.
There will be plenty of different events to get involved with, particularly since there are three different museums hosting the sessions.
Until October 3rd 2010, tourists will be able to see Summer Museums in action at the Museo di Capodimonte, Certosa di San Martino and Museo Pignatelli.
These three spaces were chosen as they represent some of the most important sites of historical, artistic and ethno-anthropological work in the Italian city, according to the organisers.
Attendees can look forward to seeing the integration of music, reading and acting within the context of each art space, they explained.
The conception and design of each programme of events has been handled by a variety of Italian organisations, such as Progetto Sonora, Libera Scena Ensamble and Maggio della Musica.
Entrance to the museums costs EUR5 (GBP4.10), except for Certosa di San Martino, which charges EUR4, with opening times varying for each art space.
The Museo di Capodimante has been open to the public since 1957 and includes the art collections of many of the Bourbon monarchs from previous centuries.
For more information on this event visit the Museo di Capodimonte website or contact the venue on +39 081 749 9111.
