MUNICH, GERMANY, April 06, 2011 (Press-News.org) Chart-topping US rock band One Republic will perform at Munich's Kesselhaus venue later this month.
Their show on Monday April 25th - one of just two German dates on their latest European tour - will give fans in the Bavarian capital a chance to hear hits such as Apologize, Stop and Stare and All the Right Moves live.
Formed in Colorado, the group rose to prominence as an unsigned act with a huge number of followers on MySpace before their debut album Dreaming Out Loud was released in 2007.
Apologize, the first single from the album, reached number one in many countries around the world and received the remix treatment from influential hip-hop producer Timbaland.
The track was written by One Republic frontman Ryan Tedder, who has composed chart hits for a long list of famous artists in addition to his work with the band.
Apologize broke the US Top 40's radio airplay record with 10,331 spins in one week and held the title until it was beaten by the Leona Lewis single Bleeding Love - a song co-written and produced by Tedder.
The 31-year-old has also worked on music for the likes of Pussycat Dolls, Shayne Ward, Westlife, Jennifer Lopez, Jordin Sparks and Natasha Bedingfield.
Tickets for One Republic's gig in Munich are priced at EUR27.50 (GBP24.20). Doors at the Kesselhaus will open at 19:00 local time and the performance is due to begin at 20:00.
Fans attending the show can visit LateRooms.com to view a large selection of Munich hotels, including the Hotel Leonardo Munich.
