Philadelphia Legal Recruiter SMR Legal Search Sponsors Lawyers On the Fast Track Alumni Reception

PHILADELPHIA, PA, April 06, 2011

On March 31, 2011, Philadelphia legal recruiter SMR Legal Search sponsored a cocktail reception to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of The Lawyers on the Fast Track Awards, and all previous winners were invited. The event was held at the law firm of Saltz Mongeluzzi Barrett & Bendesky in Philadelphia.

The reception was organized by Donna Lee Jones, Esq. a partner at Saltz Mongeluzzi, and prior winner of the award. Ms. Jones is one of Philadelphia's top plaintiff's medical malpractice and catastrophic industry attorneys, frequently obtaining multi-million dollar verdicts for her clients. In addition, Michael Adler, another previous Lawyer on the Fast Track helped to organize this event. Michael is a commercial litigation partner at the well regarded law firm, Weber, Gallagher, Stapleton, Fires and Newby, LLP.

SMR Legal Search recruiters Susan Rubinovitz, Esq. and Stephanie Ristvey attended this wonderful event. About 60 people attended, and there was much catching up and networking occurring. Donna Lee Jones made sure that there was also exceptional food and drink available in the beautiful offices of Saltz Mongeluzzi.

The Lawyers on the Fast Track Awards were started by The Legal Intelligencer, Pennsylvania's premiere legal newspaper to recognize attorneys in Pennsylvania under the age of 40 who excelled in each of the following areas: advancement of the law, commitment to pro bono work and bettering the community, and commitment and service to the bar. Winners of this award span the entire spectrum of Pennsylvania attorneys: law firm attorneys, in-house counsel, and attorneys for non profit organizations. Winners of this prestigious award have gone on to do great things.

The Legal Intelligencer had a number of representatives on hand to once again congratulate these most deserving attorneys. Publisher Hal Cohen, Editor Hank Grezlak, Special Supplements Editor Jaime Bochet, Special Events Planner Diane McCullom, Director of Advertising Donald Chalphin, Jayne Overturf, Matt Hartman, and Lana Ehrlich all attended.

From all accounts this first Lawyers on the Fast Track Alumni Reception will be the first of many such events. There was much catching up, networking, cross marketing, and just plain having fun.
