MESA, AZ, April 06, 2011 (Press-News.org) Authors of the Summit Murder Mystery Series, Charles G. Irion and Ronald J. Watkins, will speak during the Service Academy Alumni Association of Arizona (SAAA) monthly luncheon.
The authors will discuss the famed Seven Summits from their novels, the people who made climbing history, and the process of writing murder mysteries. After the event, novels from the Summit Murder Mystery Series will be on sale and the authors will be available to autograph books.
The public is invited to attend the event, which will take place on Friday, April 15, 2011, from 11:45AM - 1:30PM at the East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) in Mesa, Arizona. To RSVP, please call Doris Moore at 480-461-4034 by April 7. Cost is $12.50 each for lunch.
The SAAA is a joint alumni association for the US Military Academy, the US Naval Academy, the US Air Force Academy, the US Coast Guard Academy and US Merchant Marine Academy graduates who live in Arizona. Its mission is to bring alumni together along with friends and family to learn and share information about Phoenix and current events.
Irion has also written a collection of books titled the Hell Series, which is a set of "how to" books. The Hell Series gives readers advice on a variation of topics including car buying, home remodeling, avoiding divorce and autograph collecting.
Irion will be giving away autographed copies of Autograph Hell: The Truth About Collecting to all attendees.
