Shop Local. Give Local. VANITYLAB in Westlake is celebrating its 3rd anniversary with its 3rd annual VANITYLAB Festivus Event. Festivus will feature an urban arts festival, live music, photography exhibit, food, drinks, micro-brews from Westlake's Black Box Brewing Co., martinis from Tartine, raffles including Grand Prize $1000 VANITYLAB Year of Beauty Package, half price gift card specials & over $1300 Associates in Dermatology laser hair removal & cosmetic facial enhancement package! With over 40 local artists and exhibitors, we had to make it a 2-stop party this year sharing space with our neighbor, and the beneficiary of the fundraiser, The Gathering Place

ABOUT Angie Hofelich, VANITYLAB Salon.Spa.Shop & Sparkle Jewelry
The 3500 square foot VANITYLAB opened in April 2008 with a mission to recreate a downtown NYC salon in Westlake. VANITYLAB was named "Best of the West" 2009-2010 Styling team by West Shore Magazine and voted the 2009-2010 National Winner of "Best of the Best" Salon by Industry Source Magazine.
VANITYLAB is the creation of Angie Hofelich, a Cleveland native and former senior regional manager for beauty giant, L'Oreal Professionnel. Angie currently sits on the Board of Westshore YMCA, former Advisory Board member for Key Bank's Key4Women, former Board Member of Girls with Sole and is a guest speaker & private consultant to beauty manufacturers and distributors nationwide. Angie has also created the local salon business network, the Velvet Rope Salons. Her latest project is Sparkle at VANITYLAB; the locally made artisan collection which launched September 30, 2010 as the largest local jewelry collection in greater Cleveland. Sparkle has begun distribution into other salons March 2011. A portion of Sparkle proceeds benefit the Gathering Place and coming soon, each piece will come with the opportunity to make a dedication to a cancer survivor or lost one (sparklelocal.com).

Created in 2000 by Eileen Saffran, The Gathering Place is Northeast Ohio's first nonprofit cancer support center with two locations (Beachwood & Westlake, Ohio).
