CHANHASSEN, MN, April 07, 2011 (Press-News.org) ID Wholesaler, the largest online retailer of ID card printers and supplies, has been named as a referral partner by ECCOgen, a cashless campus solution provider. This new referral partnership will allow schools to complete their cashless campus programs with the equipment necessary to print ID cards.
Thousands of K-12 schools already turn to ID Wholesaler for assistance with printing photo ID cards for students, faculty, and visitors. ID Wholesaler offers all of the equipment needed to print, encode and manage student and faculty IDs, including ID card printers and systems, magnetic stripe and bar code readers, fingerprint scanners, card printer ribbons, and supplies, plus training and support from factory-trained technicians.
"The referral partnership with ECCOgen will give us the opportunity to assist more schools with our expertise in card printing," said Jeff Berger, Senior Account Manager at ID Wholesaler.
In business since 2004, ECCOgen provides financial solutions private K-12 schools. Their cashless campus solution called ECCOpay provides a platform for collecting funds for school lunches, books, school events, concession sales, fee-based testing, tuition, and fundraisers. The cards expedite the cafeteria line, increase food sales, and eliminate administrative burdens associated with accepting cash.
Funds in a cashless system are tracked and accessed via a magnetic stripe or barcode on an ID card, or by biometrics, such as finger print scanning. Schools requiring an ID card printer will be referred to ID Wholesaler.
"Cashless campus solutions are sweeping into schools across the country," said Ryan Herrmann, VP of Strategic Development for ECCOgen. "And there's good reason. Our program provides parents with a convenient and safe method of paying all the fees associated with enrollment in the private K-12 space, plus it helps schools make their financial operations more efficient and streamlined."
"We're looking to help an additional 50 to 100 schools go cashless by the end of 2011," said Herrmann. "Knowing that we can confidently refer our customers to ID Wholesaler for card printing will help us meet this goal."
"Budget-conscious schools appreciate our Low Price Guarantee and the fact that we are a true single-source supplier for their ID card program," said Berger. "ECCOgen's services complement our products and expertise. We look forward to helping schools choose the ID card printing solution that best suits their needs."
